Marketing isn’t so much doing any one thing as it is a process, and part of that process is getting your customers to remember you. There are many ways to go about this, some of which are far too expensive for a small booklet publisher’s budget. But, there is something you can do that will be affordable, personal and maybe even bring a smile to your customers or potential customers – send them a card.
This is the season for sending cards. Corporations and businesses of every size are sending cards to both their prospects and their customers. There is a reason for this and it’s NOT good cheer. It’s cheap marketing, plain and simple.
It’s not too late to send a holiday card to Mr. Bigwig at XYZ. It will cost you very little, but it will remind him of you and your booklet(s) so that when he’s ready to place that large order he’ll remember to contact you.
